Being with you and not being with you is the only way I have to measure time.

Homework Love

So it's a Sunday morning, and while I'm doing a ton of other things I can't help but think about Borges. I mean the obsession runs pretty deep I'm not going to lie especially after our presentation in Spanish 320 about La Ceguera. Today I am not reading Borges. In fact, while I am a Spanish major today I am mainly focusing on my Women's Studies Major doing all of the readings I have to for that. However, I am thinking about how I would like to be reading El Sur or an ensayo from Siete Noches. I love when Borges is assigned in a class, and usually spend more time on that than any of my other classes. We had a full week dedicated to him in my Latin American Lit. class last week, and we hadn't started this blog at that time, but all I want to do today is curl up and read Borges. He just provides a light at the end of the tunnel of my mountain of homework. I am looking forward to reading some Borges for pleasure. That is if I ever finish reading about hysteria and childbirth.
